Do I need a separate phone line?
Response:
No. The security system does not require a separate phone line. The communicator uses the existing telephone line and seizes the line (takes control of the line) via an RJ31X phone jack during its dialing and reporting state.
NOTE
Many home owners are getting rid of their Landline Home Phone line. We can supply a cellular communication link to the monitoring center when land lines are not being used.
